The above candidates should report to the following venue on 25th January 2011,sharp at 12 noon,


Welingkar Inst of Mgt Development & Research, 
Near Central Matunga Stn (E).

The shortlisted candidates will under go through the following recruitment process

Step 1: Aptitude Test (30 minutes)

Objective: The test is intended to analyze the following aptitude of the candidates-

 Verbal Reasoning
 Visual Reasoning
Comprehension
Data Interpretation
 Numerical Ability

The 30 marks test will be consisting of 15 questions. To clear the Aptitude Test every candidate should be required to score at least 18 marks and above

Step 2: Group Discussion (45 minutes)

Objective: To assess following competencies-
  Leadership quality
  Team work
  Communication skill (fluency, building on ideas)
  New idea generation

Scoring range for assessment-

  If the candidate is excellent            : 40-50
  If the candidate is very good           : 35-50
  If the candidate is good                   : 25-35
  If the candidate is average              : 20-25
  Candidate do not participate or
below average                            : below 20

Process-
  Instructions, announcement of topic, thinking time allowed to the candidates: 10 minutes
  Time allowed to the candidates for discussion: 20 minutes
  Group size 7 candidates (Max 14candidates in one batch)
  Candidate scored 25 & above will be eligible for next step.

Step 3: Online Learn-ability test (Thomas profiling) - (45 minutes)


  Can the candidate think on his / her feet?
  Can the candidate take in information and arrive at a logical conclusion?
  Can the candidate negotiate?
  Can the candidate cope up with high levels of concentration and a high mental work load
  Is the candidate a good problem solver?
  Candidates comfort level in handling numbers?
  Can the candidate learn complex tasks and procedures?


Process – This is an on line psychometric test which takes 45 minutes. Campus should provide the E.mail ID of the eligible candidates in advance, once the candidates are short listed after GD the institute should arrange the test in their IT Lab on the Campus, all PC operated by the candidates should have latest Flash Player installed.

Candidate should score 50 & above overall percentile from all sections of Perceptual speed, Reasoning, Number speed, Word Meaning, Special Visualization to be eligible for the  final round of selection i.e. PI (Personal Interview)


Step 4: Personal Interview (PI) – 15 minutes each candidate

F2F discussion to get insights into individual’s personality and to assess the candidate possesses the characteristics / traits required to be a successful performer and rate them as 1-Low, 3-Average, 4- Good 5- Outstanding.

Only “Outstanding” candidate will be selected & offer will be confirmed on the same day!
